Sinem is a PhD student in the M2A Coated Program, which is Doctoral Training (CDT) in Functional Industrial Coatings at Swansea University. Her supervisor is Dr. Francisco Martin-Martinez, and her co-supervisors are Dr. Shirin Alexander from Swansea University and Begona Ruiz & Concha Bosch from AINIA Technology Centre, in Valencia (Spain). Sinem obtained her BSc in Chemical Engineering and MSc in Chemistry from Istanbul Technical University (Turkey). Her PhD study focuses on the development of bioinspired and biobased functional coatings based on computational modeling for industrial packaging applications.
