Francisco Martin-Martinez is engaged with Station1, a start-up dedicated to the reimagination, redesign, and systemic reform of higher education. Following the Station1 model, we integrate societal perspectives and social impact into our research, using inquiry as the scaffold for the integration. Only by considering social and historical aspects related to a research project, we will be able to develop technologies that effectively advance while minimising any unwanted consequences derived from innovation.
